Dan Deely is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, but has been in Cleveland on the radio since 1984. Having been here for nearly 25 years Dan says Northeast Ohio now definitely feels like home.

Dan is a familiar voice in Northeast Ohio and has been heard on radio stations Majic 105.7, Q 104, 95.5 The Fish and also spent about 10 years as a weekend weatherman on TV stations WOIO, WUAB, and WKYC. Now that Dan is the afternoon drive host on WDOK he feels like he is finally on the radio station he was meant to be on. “My wife has been saying for years that I should be on WDOK, and of course as usual she’s right.”

Dan lives in Independence with his wife Mary Jo, a Cleveland native and graduate of Trinity High School and Cleveland State University and their two sons Joe and Paul.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his boys playing golf and fishing and watching the boys play baseball, football, and basketball on their teams.

Dan says, “I love my life here in Cleveland, great wife, two good kids and a wonderful job at a great radio station. I am truly blessed and I never take it for granted.”
